how do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side every step of the way! Helping you organize your schedule, answering all your questions AND being a friendly face on the most important day of your life! On your wedding day, I want to capture it all! The nerves that hit you as you're getting ready, reading that sweet love letter from your soon to be spouse, the kind words of your closest friends wishing you the absolute best in life. EVERYTHING. My job is to capture all the details that make your wedding unique. I want you to enjoy every second of your day, and I will handle the rest!
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Southern Ohio, specifically the Dayton area, and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come capture your special day! I love what I do, no matter how far I get to travel to do it.
When will we get our photos?
For portrait and couple sessions you'll receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks. For capturing your wedding I will have previews to you within a maximum of 30 days and the full digital gallery to you 12 to 16 weeks after I photograph your story! All of these timelines are subject to be more or less depending on the season we spend our time together. You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
Do you give raw unedited images
I do not! I believe editing is half the magic that goes into my work and is something that gives me that creative freedom that I love oh so much! I promise I won't leave any photos out that you'll want/need! I don't want you to miss out on your memories!
How do payment plans work?
I require 30% retainer to secure your spot on my calendar, and the remaining 70% is due 1 month in advance for weddings. You can split these payments (up to 3 payments) if you’d like to help make it more affordable. I’m always happy to work with your schedule!
can you photoshop us?
I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there (bruise, scrape, acne etc unless you’d like me to keep it the photos). If you’re self conscious about something, please let me know as I’ll be sure to be extra aware of that while I’m posing you.
What equipment do you use?
Currently I am rocking a Canon 5d Mark IV with a Sigma 35 1.4! I also have an Canon 24-105mm and 85mm 1.8!
Do you help in the planning process?
Absolutely! Let me know what you need help with, if you need recommendations, and if there’s anything I can do to make the process easier for you!
what if there's bad weather?
I always encourage embracing whatever weather comes our way, as it’s beautiful and unique in photos. If it is harsh enough that it would make for a crappy time at our shoot (or ruin my gear) and I can reschedule, then we totally will!
What if we need to reschedule/cancel our wedding?
If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date.
